You’ve read it correctly! Now it’s possible to apply for your very own community badge!

How will it work?

For the first event of this kind, we’ll ask for responses to be added as replies to this forum post. Beyond this and depending on how well received this is, we’ll then host an area where you can apply on a web page or something similar for future events of this type. We just want to gauge how well this is received firstly before implementing this on a grander scale.

Once some time has passed, we’ll review the applications, inform the users directly who were picked by TS and then the TS community can then vote for who they think should receive their very own community badge. (We’ll DM the communities who were picked, here on the forums).

For each application, if you can reply to the questions in the same format that would be great (so 1-7. If you don’t have links for the community, say N/A, none or something similar, but please answer every question so we can review your community as fairly as possible).

Do we receive any reasoning behind why we weren’t picked?

No

We earned a community badge, however we are merging with a another server/we are rebranding/we are updating our logo. Can we update the badge?

No. Similar to other badges, once this has been added there isn’t a way to modify this so please think very carefully about the badge that you would like to represent your community.

Is there a fixed timeframe on when these events will happen?

Not at this time. It will really depend on how many communities are interested in this to determine how often we’ll do this. Each time this takes place however, we’ll let everyone know on all of our social platforms.

Is it possible for the badge we have to be removed?

Only if it’s a last resort. We appreciate that every single server is completely different and has a varying degree of rules contained within each server, however if the server was displaying “bad behaviours” that might portray TeamSpeak in a negative light, we would need to intervene. We would attempt to have a chat about this first to hopefully resolve this, but failing this we do have the facility to remove this if there is no resolution or any other choice.

Is this a public badge similar to our range of badges as it stands, or will it be a badge that we can give out to our users?

This would be a public badge, so anyone can effectively redeem your badge.

If anything else comes up in relation to this topic which needs to be addressed, I’ll update this forum post if it’s needed.

→ Our community is unique because of the good communication, good vibes and mature staff. We listen to every problem, we try to solve every problem and we try to keep the communication between staff and members. After all the “positions” we are all friends, I think that’s making a community good.

  • Our community is based on the game Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike Global Offensive.
  • We have good Technical Assistance.
  • We organize competitions with money prizes, such as War-Nights / War-Days.
  • We have Music Bots.
  • We have an personalized rank system with virtual currency.
  • We have Anti Abusing System.
  • We also give free channels.

    Hello everyone,
    the Ethria team invites you on a journey of discovery on our server, we look forward to welcoming you on your trip.
    There are various plots and farms to cover, as well as an adminshop and a mall (with your area to design your own shops).
    We offer you our own plugins as well as external plugins.

    We are a community of friends.
    Since we have been playing in groups, we have been using Teamspeak and since then friends of friends have also been using our Teamspeak server. This is how the community expands steadily.
    When we come home from work in the evening, we meet on the Teamspeak server and talk, play, laugh and just have fun together.

    We’re a community consisting of members who’ve met each other in the corse of our educational journey and our TeamSpeak server has been the main way of staying in touch for most of us. Some have moved further away from home so we’re not seeing each other a whole lot since about mid 2018. As stated above most of us are currently busy with exam sessions but we do still play together as a clan and also with strangers & so called “clan friends” (who’re not officially part of the clan but share the same ts permissions as our memebers do). Our community hosts multiple game- and other servers (most of them on our own hardware) for anyone to use. The same goes for using out TS-Server: We have public channels and everyone’s free to create their own temporary channel (delete delays up to 24h).
    RepublicOfGamersCH tries to give back as much to the gaming community as we can.
    Some of us even have met the loves of their life while playing with our group :wink:

Edit: Oh and by the way: We also have music bots in our server :slight_smile:

With 2,589,018 players we are one of the biggest minecraft networks in the world!
Every game mode on Timolia is unique, in JumpWorld over 435,169 jump and runs have already been built and in 1vs1 there have already been 594,796,536 fights.

Our community is just as unique as our game modes.
We regularly organize events or tournaments in which over 100+ different players take part.

Hi!
Our community was officially born in 2015 thanks to the passion of a group of young people who were looking for a place to come together and belong. With commitment we have managed to achieve various goals we have set in the past, such as the creation of a mixed community based on fun and mutual respect, in which only one thing counts: being well together!
Among the activities of our community there are countless game tournaments, watching movies, TV series and anime in groups, but above all long chats.

Our conception of “community”
Since our creation we have attributed to the word community a meaning that is often different from the common one, that is, a collective place of belonging, in which there are no owners, but only managers, who strive to guarantee users a healthier and more pleasant environment.

Our website, our space.
A few years ago, during a boom in users, we created a multilingual site because many users spoke German or English.
We are recently revising the site to make it accessible to people with visual impairments or the blind.
With the decrease in the number of users due to the fact that we were not able to obtain sponsorship with ts twice and the donations were not enough to buy the 128 slot license, we found ourselves using only 32 slots. Before that we were planning a kind of community “social network” where everyone could post their work.
Hopefully we can finish the job soon!

7- We are one of the oldest ARMA series community of Brazil, that is active since 2009. Proudly we have a great network with Brazilian and other countries ARMA communities.

Also we are one of the groups that support Zona de Combate, with is a place that organized groups of ARMA 3 join forces to play and learn together. Zona de Combate is the most successful effort to ARMA brazilian groups play together, that is alive since 2014.

    It is a smaller community mainly playing minecraft (that’s why we have a few minecraft servers), but there are also Metin guilds and people who just like to talk.
    On our server, you don’t have to go to the admin to remove someone’s rank, all you need to do is enter the panel. Music bots are no problem, thanks to our partner TS3AB they work all the time without any problems. Our application works very fast sometimes you may not even notice that something has been done

Our community has been around the Minecraft game since 2011. We are currently one of the largest French networks with over 2,100,000 players. Our brand has brought the French Community together by offering the best possible services to spend a good time on all of our platforms. We are happy and proud to see the evolution of some people who have been following us since the beginning.

We are the biggest Polish community built around Cfx/FiveM players (mainly roleplay), running over 50,000 members Discord, expanding our brand to right now 4th different gaming project, running concurrently.
Our Twitch channel was hosting one live show for our community, which reached 7000 concurrent viewers, having few of hugest polish influencers partciping.
It would be a great honour to us being chosen for such unique label!

    I don’t know about having a special community. But we are a wide age mixed community from kids until very old silver gamers. We met us now 14 years ago. Our ts3 server is current almost 9 years old. We hope tobget something special to fight better against discord and all the others. :sunglasses:
