For a long time I have had the problem that I always have random users in my contacts who have written me a message at some point and I can’t mark these messages as read… The same sometimes happens with groups

Is this only with chats where less than 10 messages (including, join/invite events) exist?

I mean, I had the same problem already once in the “Beta Test” group for a while
Did you try to clear the TS chat cache already?
It’s located under %localappdata%\TeamSpeak\Cache\Default\tschat
I personally had that once in last days, but could not trigger it when i tried to force it.

I have just deleted this and now group chats are also there again
I had a similar bug but before the update. As I updated to beta 59 it got fixed for me

Can you please try following?
Open the chats where the unread counter exists.
Then scroll up in these as far as you can.
Close the client because your memory usage will be heavy.
Start it again and check if these are still there.

I have done that now! 
The group chats have been marked as read, but the 2 normal chats have not.
Can you scroll in these? Just saw the first report where scrolling wasn’t possible.
They may need 50 or more messages to trigger that the client loads older messages / badges of messages.

Yes, in the first report, unfortunately, you could not scroll.
Will there be a solution for this in the future?
Only when we find out what does trigger this. At this point we do not know.
