Losing my mind; REALLY high cpu usage in teamspeak 6 streaming vs discord

My partner’s computer cannot handle teamspeak 6 streaming, as it often utilizes up to 12% (consistently) of CPU usage, whereas discord only uses around ~3-5% (with occasional spikes into 16-20% territory) and I cannot figure out what’s going on.

Hardware Accel is on, The encoding codec is NVIDIA’s CUDA (for h.264) and seemingly utilizes the gpu for this.

It is on Windows 11 and I have done a windows performance monitor / analysis and it does seem to be teamspeak through 3 processes adding up to about 10% cpu usage.

There does not seem to be anyone else who has been having this problem, specifically with discord running smoother (since discord seems to run worse without the streaming) so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-8500

GPU: Nvidia RTX 2060 Super

RAM: 8GB x 4 DDR4

Can you check if the CPU usage gets reduced when you open the settings window?
