[Theme] Midnight Violet & Abyss — Two dark themes for TeamSpeak 6
Hi everyone,
I’d like to share a small theme pack I put together for TeamSpeak 6: Midnight Violet and Abyss.
Both themes are built on the same foundation — a clean, distraction-free dark base with carefully picked accents. They’re lightweight, fully CSS-based, and need no external dependencies.
Midnight Violet is a deep amethyst-violet theme. Near-black violet base, violet accents, soft typography. Feels calm and a bit moody.
Abyss goes the other direction — a deep-ocean teal theme with cool cyan accents. Higher contrast, slightly more “technical” look.
Features
- Two hand-tuned dark themes in one extension
- Full UI coverage — chat, channel tree, settings, context menus, modals
- Proper scrollbar styling
- No blur, no glassmorphism, no visual noise
- Works with TeamSpeak 6 (Electron client)
- Lightweight — two CSS files, nothing else

A note on how these work
TeamSpeak 6 declares its CSS variables on :root, ::before, ::after. That’s a bit unusual — most surfaces in TS6 are painted by ::before pseudo-elements, and those don’t inherit custom properties from :root alone. So the themes override variables on the exact same selector the client uses. That’s what makes them actually apply across the whole UI, including the panels and headers that often stay untouched.
