The new teamspeak looks good for those who want to use that.
Now, we use the classic Teamspeak instead of other competitors because of it’s simplicity. And i bet most people are these days.
What if we want the good classic teamspeak 3, only with newer codecs?
I see the new will come up to 384khz, that’s what i’m using in 32-bit and i can tell the old codecs is kind of outdated with buzzing bad quality. If the new Teamspeak is backwards compitable, why not put in some new codecs in the old versions also?
Heck, even new motherboards has built-in 192khz 32 bit now.
