I don’t like noise notifications or popup notifications, but I like to know if there are unread messages waiting without having to bring the client forward to check. Would like to be able to see a number on the taskbar icon (not to be confused with the tray icon) showing how many unread messages I have.
Specifically I’m thinking of direct messages / group chat messages, but I suppose there could be settings for servers as well.
