Stale Decoder Error

I am using teamspeak 5. Every so often when I am moved from one channel to another, my teamspeak crashes instantly. I get: [2020-04-09 18:58:57.903] [error] Stale Decoder detected, terminating it. Was ever active = 1

and then

[2020-04-09 18:58:57.906] [error] [Capture] CaptureDeviceContext callbackWaits2 wait exceeded 5 secs 258 - Microphone (Blue Snowball)

what do I do to fix this issue?

ts5 version?

Looks like you have some issues with the audio. Here are some troubleshootings you can try to fix it:

  • choose other usb-port for mic
  • update your drivers
  • switch capture/playback mode to default/specific device

Because of your tag I assume that you are using TS5?

…and as @Stefan92 said, a complete log would be helpful.
