Teamspak on a root server

If I have teaspak server on my root
server then i install kane at the end when /.ts3server_startscript.sh start do not continue wall he says no permissions and i don’t know why?

This is a normal error. You’re not meant to run TeamSpeak under root or any application with root privileges.

To resolve the problem, create a new user, called teamspeak3 or something similar, and then login into that user and run the TeamSpeak Server from that user. Depending on your Linux ditro, using the useradd command will allow you to create a new user.

Running applications under the root user, is a security concern, and it’s not normal practice or recommended to run TeamSpeak under root.
