This is definitely a problem with the custom skin being used here.
I just switched to the beta channel and checked with my own skin and that’s working fine with 3.5.0 so I guess the creator of your skin used a different method of styling the context menu which for some reason doesn’t work well with the new client version.
You will have to find the creator of that skin and tell them about it.
