TeamSpeak 3 Client 3.5.6 [Beta_linux_x86]

All clients of version 3.5.6 [Stable] will show version 3.5.6 [Beta_linux_x86]. No matter what operating system the clients are running on, the version is always displayed as Beta_linux_x86. Is this intentional or a display error?

In other versions, such as the 3.5.7 [Beta] or the 3.5.5, something like this is not displayed.

Same here.

Happens to me too. And the Version is now shown as Alpha.

Thanks for reporting this! It should be fixed now (hopefully), although a client restart and another click on “Check for Update” might be required.

:disappointed_relieved:

Let me know if you’re still experiencing issues.

And you did check for update again AND re-started your client?

i have it done, but still the same problem

On Linux it was and it is normal. It a problem on the Windows version of TeamSpeak.

For me it’s displayed normally again. Thanks, good work!

ok, i cleared my cache and then i made the steps that you said, and it is fixed now.

Please keep an eye on it and let me know if it happens again. Thanks!

Just to shed some light on the situation… upcoming TS3 releases will no longer support 32-bit Linux installations so a new update channel was added to prevent annoying “update available” messages on this platform. Seems like the code to show the update channel in the client infoframe does not handle this properly.

:grimacing:

My apologies for the inconvenience!
