Teamspeak 3 Client Not Starting (MSVCP140.dll , VCRUNTIME.140.dll)

Today I was having problems with my pc and recently when I started teamspeak it popped up with a few errors like “The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found.” then it kept popping up with the same message but the .dll part was different. I have reinstalled the client about 5 times and restarted pc about 8 times and I have also tried to search up the dll’s not found and still I could not find anything. Please help me and Thank you for your time, Stay Safe!

List of .dll not found:
MSVCP140.dll
VCRUNTIME.140.dll

I am on the latest windows update.

hi,
Download this : Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2015

When I attempted to start TS yesterday I received this error massaged along with (reinstalling might fix the issue)… I have reinstalled TS 3 times now and no luck… I did try the Microsoft fix but the file failed for some reason. Dead in the water… really don’t want to reinstall windows… if someone could help me that would be great.

try this :
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555
https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x64.exe

The second must do the job but i’m not sure so try both

The second link did the trick… Thank you!

I reinstalled it like 2 times and it does not fix it

Your CPP redistributable installation is broken.
Have a look at this:

so you are saying that the teamspeak server are not working right now or do i restarted my pc and what should i do about this.

No?
You need to (re)install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019.

You can find a direct download for them here.

Make sure to get the one appropriate for you system and TS installation. If you are unsure install both x86 and x64.
