TeamSpeak 5.0.0-beta62

Hi everyone,

Today we released version beta 62 into your closed beta channel.

This update mainly focuses on bug fixes and improves performance where contact and room categories used a lot of resources on any status update.

Other performance improvements for chats as an example are still a work in progress and need more testing before we can release them.

Changelog

beta62

  • Fixed context menus sometimes closing when they should not
  • Fixed having to reconfigure audio settings after Windows / driver updates
  • Fixed remote applications spamming the log if the port is already in use
  • Fixed potential crash in remote applications
  • Fixed Ignore Users not working
  • Fixed first message not showing up in server based chat
  • Fixed not being able to edit the server password
  • Adjusted spacing around spacer channels
  • Improved performance of contact / room categories
  • Added option to mute microphone when Windows session is locked
  • Client no longer plays chat sounds when the status is set to Do not Disturb

Since Beta62 my contact categories are no longer sorted alphabetically, but randomly.

You are right! Thank you for the report.

The sorting happens per name of the contact/room. This is not the intended way and we will fix that.

Nice Update

Hi, I think I have found a bug. You cannot remove a password from a server in teamspeak 5 Beta 62. However it works fine in teamspeak 3.

You can see the steps I did to produce the issue here: - YouTube

Can reproduce this. Tnx for the report.
