With the update of the server which was forced today. A user couldn’t connect to the server without any information that his security level is too low.
Somehow he could connect, didn’t get a ping and disconnected automatically.
TS3 or TS6 client didn’t made any difference for him. Also restarting the router and getting a complete new IP address didn’t made any change.
Only with increasing his security level he could use it the normal way.
Client didn’t change anything since yesterday.
The only thing I did server side was docker pull and compose up. No increasement of secuirty level
I can not confirm the issue. The client prompts me to increase the security level, when manually increasing it in the server settings.
Can you check if your friend tried with a different identity?
Right-click the Server and select Client List. There you should search for a duplicated entry. Do you see any there?
I checked it. Only when he tried with TS3 I can see that he had another identity.
The fix for him was to increase his security level then it worked with the same identity.
Is there something else I can provide you?
Thank you for your reply.
This is making me even more suspicious, that he was using TS3 before and now switched to TS6? Is that possible?
If this issue comes up again we could take a look at it, however this does not seem to be a bug, rather an issue with the identity configuration on the user’s side.
