Is it time to say goodbye?
I’ve been a member of this community for 10 years.
For the past month, my server has been subject to DDoS attacks from a competing server.
Today, I received a notification that I’m “selling” channels and making money on my server, even though in the 10 years it’s been running, I’ve never made any profit. I’ve had to add my own money to pay for hosting. But the administration knows better when complaints are being filed against servers and users who recently joined our community after Discord’s restrictions.
Now they are taking away my license for 512 slots that I received 10 years ago… because of complaints from some users who started using TS a month ago.
That’s what’s most offensive.
That I didn’t do anything critical, but now I and my 10-year-old project have been thrown into the trash.
Thank you all for these 10 years, and good luck!

Greetings to everyone in the Russian community! And remember, DDoS attacks and complaints from unfriendly European users will also destroy your servers.
Yes, there were some guys from a competing server.
And they were the ones who dumped the gutter on my server.
But that doesn’t matter anymore; once my license expires, I’m leaving the community.
Honestly, you still seem very suspicious to me. I was accused as well, but since I do not have an NPL, it does not really matter. That means I am allowed to make profit. TeamSpeak does not just ban for no reason. Things get checked properly. And the fact that you are quitting TeamSpeak now just because you do not have an NPL anymore is kind of sad. The NPL is outdated anyway and will probably be discontinued at some point.
And regarding the DDoS topic, I get several attacks every single day, ranging from small ones to several hundred Gbit, and nothing goes offline on my end. You should look for a professional server hoster who can set up better protection.

You got deeper Information about discontinueing of NPL‘s in the future?
I can’t say that’s been my experience.
In the old days, there were situations where some TS employees blacklisted servers just because they didn’t like the people operating them, to say it bluntly.
