When having the sidebar collapsed and the Chat History directly under the activity area, it moves the triangle activity icon to the left side. When the contacts or group chats are below the area it is on the right side.

It happens if there is a scrollbar in the sidebar. I gotta say, at first it’s a bit confusing but I really like it.

Oh yeah but then it should behave the same when the sidebar is not collapsed.

The only issue i see here is that the indicator(s)
big Window (arrow) and Overlay (small dot) are cut off.
