you mean as an alternative to the inbuilt teamspeak noise reduction and type attenuation?

It is not only within teamspeak that you can adjust the sound, it can also be inside windows settings.
Or if there is realtek hd audio manager.
If you set things up well I don’t think there can be bad.
So I find it unnecessary too.

I agree with you on this, Teamspeak’s audio quality is great. However, it is absolutely terrible at suppressing background noise and I would suggest integrating Krips as an alternative.

My friend, what you find unnecessary is unfortunately necessary. Even if you use “application sounds, windows sounds and sound card interface” as you mentioned, you cannot get 100% results. In short, I think Krips or an alternative noise cancellation will make TeamSpeak 5 even better.
Discord has been permanently banned in Russia, Turkey and a few other countries. People try to bypass such bans by using VPN or DNS, but these usually cause ping increases in the games they play or the websites they visit.
Therefore, people started looking for an alternative application where they can chat together while playing games without using VPN and DNS. However, the only alternative application to Discord so far has been Revolt.Chat, but its voice software has been renewed and it is currently unavailable.
I think that TeamSpeak developers should use such a great crisis against themselves. TeamSpeak is a great application that is very old and known by almost the entire gaming community. However, it needs an interface that is more suitable for today’s conditions and especially “noise reduction filter and desktop screen sharing” etc. By adding a few more features, it can increase the user base again and become popular.
We have been using TeamSpeak as a large community for a few weeks, but since many people complained about background noise, we started logging into Discord again via VPN and DNS.
It may be unnecessary in your personal opinion, but I am pretty sure that there are hundreds of thousands of users who do not think like you.
It would be a much better approach to say that something like this is a good alternative instead of writing “unnecessary” 
Anyway, I hope TeamSpeak developers hurry up on this issue. And use this crisis to attract a large user base. I think TS5 is coded with Electron JS, which will make it easier for them to do this job.

Voice Activity Detection with Hybrid mode works well for me, you just need to adjust the gate to the environment noise level. Not perfect, yes, but it’s already there. If you have been following TeamSpeak development route in the past few years, the team seems to have bigger issues at hand, so expecting such a low priority feature to release anytime soon is futile IMO.
While you wait, you might want to check out Nvidia RTX Voice. It’s a very capable noise suppressor.

i also think there should be something implemented to make peaks when sneezing or stuff like this not possible..
at the moment there seems to be no good limitation for input volume and so on..
its awful at that and can actively hurt someones hearing..
please do something about this team

I used Discord for a long time, but after experiencing several problems with the platform, I decided to return to TeamSpeak. Some of my friends also use it, and in the past I even had a large TeamSpeak server with many active users every day. I missed that experience, and I am very impressed by how much TeamSpeak has evolved.
In my experience, the voice and video quality are noticeably better than Discord, even compared to Discord Nitro. I am a big fan of TeamSpeak and would really like to continue using it, so I would like to share two suggestions that I believe would make the experience even better.
The first is improved noise suppression. When I use TeamSpeak with friends, we can hear many background noises, such as chairs squeaking, keyboard sounds, dogs barking and other household noises. This can sometimes be uncomfortable or embarrassing. It would be amazing if TeamSpeak could offer stronger automatic noise suppression in the future, similar to technologies that filter background noise while preserving the user’s voice.
Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. I truly appreciate TeamSpeak and the improvements your team has made. I hope these features can be considered for future updates, because I would love to keep using TeamSpeak as my main communication platform.

TeamSpeak 6 already has quite a few audio processing options, including adjustable noise suppression, automatic gain control, echo cancellation, typing noise suppression and comfort noise, so the current system is definitely more capable than just basic VAD.
I still think a more advanced AI-based noise suppression option could be a useful addition though, especially for more complex background sounds like other people talking, dogs, TV noise or similar situations.
It does not necessarily have to be Krisp specifically, but having an optional stronger noise suppression mode alongside the existing filters would be a nice addition.
