When creating an account, you’re prompted to set a password and repeat the password. The app simply allows you to copy the password you’ve entered and paste it into the “Repeat Password” field. So, if someone careless enough to copy a password with a typo is a recipe for trouble in the future, they’ll have problems. I think the “Repeat Password” field is intended to confirm the correct password chosen by the user and eliminate any potential errors. Currently, the functionality of the account creation page is not up to this task, it would be great to fix this.

I disagree, first it is the users responsibility to retype the password, if they choose not to do so, he has always has the ability to perform a password reset.
→ Since the user has clearly indicated that they have saved the recovery key, no data will be lost and they can easily access the correct password.
