@AkifEsad
Luckily you only have to update Teamspeak every couple of years. The last update was on February 2024 (not a joke sadly).
@LeonMarcelHD
This is a long known issue since months AFAIK (not the first time either).
Many just gave up and use a competitor product with friends when on the phone because of this.
I’m also affected on:
Google Pixel 9 Pro / Android 16 AOSP Graphene
Google Pixel 7 / Android 16 AOSP Graphene
The app itself is unavailable to even be found in the store on such devices.
It says it’s made for an older version of Android.
Even if you navigate to it with the “link”, it also shows it’s not available and can neither be bought nor installed (e.g. from an external source that links to the Google Play Store and opens it directly).
Also says it’s made for an older version.
Being part of the beta tester group does NOT affect it.
A friend is also part of beta and it works on a Samsung with Android 16.
Thank you for the details, I’ve forwarded it internally to our dev team to check.
I’ve just tested with a different Google account and was also expecting the same error, even though it was working on the same device when using a Google account it was purchased on.
I’m also a victim of the same problem and I get the same error on Google Play: ‘This app was made for an old Android version and cannot be used on your device’
Not yet, the app is currently in an unreleasable state and will take a significant amount of effort to get back up and running. Therefore it will take a bit until this issue is resolved.
Hello, I believe the relevant teams understand the issue we’re discussing. You have a large number of affected users. I’d like to request that this issue be investigated further.
In the google play app, when I search for the teamspeak 3 app directly. This app is the old version. It’s written a term that doesn’t match your device, so I can’t make an action like buying
Have you tried purchasing the app trough a browser? Like said above. In my case the app shows up just fine on an account that has it purchased. It looks like it is only hidden when it has not been purchased yet.
