I know that TeamSpeak 6 client uses Markdown now that’s fine but please consider adding BBcode support as a legacy feature.
Since TS6 servers are still compatible with the TS3 client and vice versa, BBcode is still widely used across many servers. Most existing TeamSpeak servers rely on BBcode for formatting texts, URLs, colors, etc., and unfortunately the TS6 client doesn’t display these correctly anymore. This leads to broken formatting, unreadable content, and a very poor user experience when using TS6 with TS3-based servers.
I believe temporary BBcode support would be an important transitional feature, at least until the beta ends and TS3 clients are no longer supported. Once TS6 is fully independent, BBcode support could then be removed cleanly.
Right now, when using the TS6 client to join a TS3 server, almost all text formatting is broken, which makes TS6 look unfinished and discourages users from switching.
