With the new client I can still upload files and they can be seen, but they can’t be downloaded (it says “file not found”). The Teamspeak 3 client can still download them.

Thank your for the report,
I was able to reproduce this issue and will forward it to our devs.
Many thanks ![]()
Hello.
For several days now, it has been impossible to download files from the server.
You can upload them and edit the name. Everything was working fine before, and I didn’t change anything on the server.
Error.
Invalid file path - if its root folder.
File not found - if its subfolder.
Server Hosted on windows. (No idea what version)
Same problem as:
Hello TeamSpeak Support,
I’ve encountered a file transfer issue involving TeamSpeak 6. When I try to download files from the server using TeamSpeak 6, the transfer fails. However, the same files can be downloaded successfully using TeamSpeak 3.
This issue did not occur in TeamSpeak 5, where file transfers worked as expected. It seems that TeamSpeak 6 may not be fully compatible with the current server setup or file transfer protocol.
To help illustrate the problem, I’ve recorded a short video showing the issue:
Could you please advise if this is a known issue or if there are any configuration changes required on the server to support file downloads in TeamSpeak 6?
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Sebastian
Thank your for the report, due to our Hotfix release last week, which resolved starting issues we kinda had to rush a client release and this got overlooked.
This issue should get resolved with the next upcoming client.
My TeamSpeak docker container hosted on Ubuntu 22.04 cannot download shared files. The error message is ‘invalid file path’. I have already located the file in the mapped directory and have set the permissions to 777, but I still cannot download the file.
As you can see in the screenshot I uploaded dfs.hideout.
My very next click is on the bottom trying to download it.
Weird thing I noticed is when I pick the location of the download it instead says “upload”, I tried this with a friend as well and he’s experiencing the same thing on my server.
After choosing a location for the download and then clicking the “bugged Upload” I get the error in image 1 → dfs.hideout file not found.
I check on my linux server and I can see the folder and the file in there and I tried giving full permissions but nothing solved the issue.
This is actually two issues.
Many thanks so I just have to wait for the next version I guess.
