BUG: Streaming Window Doesn’t Close After Starting Broadcast

When I start a broadcast in TeamSpeak 6, the streaming window stays open (instead of minimizing/closing), but the stream itself works fine. However, if I click outside the streaming window, the broadcast stops unexpectedly.

I’ve noticed that for some users, the window disappears automatically after starting the stream—but not for me. Is this a bug, or is there a setting to control this behavior?

Details:

  • TeamSpeak 6 version: 6.0.0-beta2
  • OS: Windows 11
  • Steps to reproduce: Start broadcast → window persists → click outside → stream stops.

This is an already known issue and will be fixed with an upcoming release. It has to do with a failed connection attempt that is still in the activity sidebar.

Thanks for reporting. That was sometimes caused by failed connection attempts to servers. This issue is already fixed in our internal alpha versions.
