[Bug / Suggestion] Incorrect avatar uploading in TS 5 client

I made a screenshot about my WoW character and uploaded it as my avatar in the TS 5 client. After uploading it i saw that the image is wider than it supposed to be.
In the Preview it shows the right image, but after i upload it the image will be wider.

But otherwise it’s wide:

Suggestion: I think the client should crop the image if it has a wrong resolution and not resize it (because the client resized the image to a wider resolution).

I use the latest TS 5 update (beta 24) on Windows 10.

Thank you for that report. We have that issue on our list already and will fix it.

avatars uploaded from Version: 5.0.0-beta42 are getting compressed and are not a 1 x 1 ratio after the upload
if you upload the same image on ts3 it will not change the ratio

i reported this bug when the newes verson was b30 but that leaded to nothing

We had this on our list since feb. last year but we set priorities.
