Hi,
I’m the owner of my TeamSpeak6 server, but I can’t change anything. I can add roles, but I’m not able to modify them in any way. I tried adding an icon, but that’s not possible either, and I’m also unable to assign the server admin role to my friends.
I may have accidentally changed something in the owner role, but I’m not sure. I’ll add a screenshot of the permission settings so you can check if something is wrong.
Please use a different group for your friends as in the past users have deleted, modified or revoked themselves the admin group.
Therefore you now can no longer modify the owner group.
My bad that i did not explain everything.
Even if i make a new role im not able to change anything in there.

Im not able to give friends or myself any roles at all so even if i make a new one nothing changes.
I just confirmed with a new server instance that the permissions are working as intended and icons can also be set.
Assigning new groups to myself works as well.

Its impossible to do anything at all.
you can see that i have icons on my channels but im not able to change them now so something is not right.
Make sure your groups have b_client_skip_channelgroup_permissions otherwise you are limited by your channel group.
Does that still happen when you remove yourself the Channel Group?

To further investigate this issue without random guessing. I’ll need a Permission overview. For that you’ll need to download the TS3 client, no login needed. But the client needs the Server Admin group.
Either upload the file to a media sharing service or as plain text here as a reply.
The only issue here is that it says that im not Server Admin or anything and i cant give it to myself either.
Is it something that im missing?

Looks like you’ve assigned yourself client permissions that are lower than your actual permissions.
Removing those permissions from yourself should from my tests not work, therefore you’ll need to create a new Community as your Account is not recoverable…
