Can not connect to newer TeamSpeak Server // Certificate invalid

i rented a server off the teamspeak website and i cant connect

You are trying to connect to a TS6 server, for which you need a newer client version.

Please update your TS3 client to the latest version or download the TS6 beta in order to connect to the server.

I purchased this TeamSpeak last week and it was working fine for the 7 day free trial. Then today when we try to use it after they charged me it is disconnecting my friend saying Certification Invalid. How can I fix this problem?

Which client version does your friend use?

Hi,

I’m new to teamspeak and I’ve being using the TeamSpeak 6 client for some days now even set up a server by buying one of the subscriptions from TeamSpeak. Now some friends have some issue with TS6 and from what I could find TS3 clients should be able to connect to TS6 servers, though when I tested that it gives me this error “Disconnected from server (certificate invalid)”.

I also can’t connect to the TeamSpeak Public (“Failed to connect to server” error) so I don’t know if this is an isssue with my client, the server or the compatibility is only for self-hosted servers.

TS3 is on version 3.6.2. Any help would be great.

We are currently experiencing issues with the voice.teamspeak.com server. If necessary please use one of our other servers that are linked in the dashboard of TS6.

The client should be able to connect to the server if it is above 3.6.0.
