Can't join TS Server with IPv6

Hello Guys,

I’m trying to install a TS3 Server on my Computer. Everything is working fine, I can connect with the computers local IPv4 but not with his IPv6.

I don’t realy thinks it’s the local firewall but here are the ufw settings:

OS is Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

Hi,
thanks for the hint, I will have a look at it tomorrow.

Hello,

I just tried pinging the server. The result was that no computer was found with that IP. So I guess the Server doesn’t have a “real” IPv6 adress…

I got an relativ old router…only checkboxes (actually radiobuttons) are “UPnP” (currently set to "deactivated) and “AutoConfiguration Type” (currently set to “stateless”)

btw…how would I enter the IP in teamspeak?

I always just enter the plain IPv6 but at the old ts-forum I saw someone doing it like:

[1234:1234:1234:1234:...]:9987

Ok thank you very much for your help, I will try further and let you know when it worked… I will mark this topic as solved.

For anyone with the same problem and lost in Google:

My Problem was that my router wich the server is connected to, didn’t assigned a valid IPv6 adress to the server. I tested this by pinging the server from the network.
