Can't use the app - There is a severe error in your configuration. Your native library couldn’t get initialized

Yesterday after updating for v3.4.6. First to v3.4.7 Just crashed like others. Later I Installed v3.4.8. This doesn’t crash but gives me a message saying PLEASE CONTACT THE SUPPORT TEAM AND TELL THEM “There is a severe error in your configuration. Your native library couldn’t get initialized”.

I’ve tried contacting the support team which brought me here.

Now what do I do? do I just wait for a new version that will actually work?

This error indicates an issue with your myTeamSpeak login.

Please restart the App and try again if that does not work, try deleting your App data and login again.

Update from my post earlier. I decided to uninstall v3.4.8 completely. Then I took v3.4.5 from one of my older network radios. This worked perfectly in my phone despite me having v3.4.6 installed originally. So, I tried directly upgrading v3.4.5 to v3.4.8. Same problem, it wouldn’t connect to anything. Yet again I uninstalled v3.4.8 and reinstalled v3.4.5. All working again. So, I don’t know why programmers retract earlier versions from Google Play Store before everybody has tried the newer updates. At least it would be a fallback instead of having to go through all this grief just to get back to square one. Rant Over For Now…

Hi, yes i tried all that several times. The most obvious thing. But as I’ve explained… No joy..

Thanks for the reply.

I am also having the same error, I’ve deleted the app and downloaded it again and same error message.

I’m now also encountering this error. The client was hanging when trying to connect, so I force stopped and deleted app cahce and data. Now when I try to login I get the “There is a severe error in your configuration. Your native library couldn’t get initialized” error.

We need some more information regarding the issue:

  • Android Version
  • Your device
  • At what state is this issue appearing

Android version 12

Device: Motorola g22

Error occurs after I enter my user name and password for myTeamSpeak account. The login can also just hang. It worked fine before the 4th Feb update.

Do you experience any issues when using it logged out?

Could you please download the latest beta version available here or trough the Play Store directly.

And after reproducing the issues, use the share logfile option in the settings and send the log it to me via a DM.

First, apologies for the mistake in my previous post. My phone is running android 12, not 3.4.8 which was the teamspeak version I was using! I have edited the post to correct.

I updated the app to the beta version (3.4.9) and cleared the app cache and data. The error is still present.

When I attempt to continue without logging in the app displays a “Loading items” for several seconds and just stays at the initial login screen. The “Continue without logging in” option is unselectable at this point. If I select login then go back to this screen I can then select continue with login which fails again the same way.

Attempting a login produces the error message “There is a severe error in your configuration. Please contact the support team and tell them your native library could not get initialized.”

I cannot see an in app settings option to export any logs (I can’t get past the login screen).

UPDATE

I installed the the android client on an Acer tablet and the app is doing the same on that device. This is running android version 10

Hi again. Well this may sound bad, but I’m glad it’s not just me that had this problem and I sympathize with everyone that’s pulling their hair out whilst trying to solve the issues. Is there an archive somewhere of previous versions? I would just like to go back to v3.4.6 the version that worked fine for me before all this started. At least it would give people the opportunity to carry on using their devices until the latest bugs & glitches have all been ironed out.
