The feature to set an avatar for the account is available already.
Have you tried to set the avatar again?

Some one in my server has this problem they are able to upload and it show on profile and in their Status (available, busy , away) but it dosent show up in the room channel sections. the weird thing is its only this person. I might suggest to uninstall and install team speak again (They also get this “This user needs a myTeamspeak account to receive contact request” ) which they do …that’s the only way to download TS5 I believe.

This message also appears, if someone connects to a server while having myTeamSpeak features disabled. (I apologise for going OT.)
