Connecting a audio device after Connect on Startup does not activate microphone directly

Hello all, I’ve encountered a pretty interesting event regarding the ‘Connect on Startup’ toggle to join a server. It seems that whenever this is the case and Teamspeak first starts up (auto connecting to a server), anytime headphones are disconnected/reconnected, the state of the microphone stays disabled which then leads to manually clicking the mute toggle to unmute. However, if leaving said server and rejoining again, this issue does not happen. For some insight, we have multiple PCs that auto connect to a server that we use to save time but then leads to an issue whenever headphones get disconnected and the mic stays muted upon reconnection, which leads to loss of immersion having to open up the teamspeak client to unmute. I’m not sure if this has been brought up before but this is on Teamspeak 6 beta3.4

I’ll forward this to discussion, but I am sure that this is not a bug, rather a feature that the user does not send audio without a full confirmation in the UI.

I wasn’t entirely sure if it was a bug or not, but thanks for clarifying. Just to make sure is this something that needs to get fixed on our end or an unwanted feature that is happening and can be looked into?

This sounds like an client behaviour which can not be changed at this time. But as said, I’ll forward it, maybe a setting for that can get added.
