Yesterday I created a TeamSpeak community. While setting up the server, I encountered the error below whenever I tried to upload an icon to the server:
From what I can see, the issue does not appear to be related to any setting that can be configured through the TeamSpeak interface. Could you please take a look at the issue?
The file transfer on Communitys is exclusively available for the TS6 client, as we use a new file storing method which is not supported by the TS3 Client.
Thank you for your answer. I have attempted to upload my icons through the TeamSpeak 6 client and assign them to groups and channels, which indeed does work. However, when switching back to the TS3 client the icons cannot be found, resulting in an error message. Is that the intended effect, i.e., are icons simply not supported for TS3?
Yes this is intended behavior. This is because of the new file transfer system we’re using on Communities going forward.
The TS3 client does not know how to handle it, resulting in the error that it can’t find any images.
