Yeah happend to me also just had TS minimized in tray and playing some game and it crashed 2 times… Didnt care much since it was ok after
For me it kept crashing for several times, had to switch to TS3 and i’m waiting for an update to fix it …
Teamspeak has been closed spontaneously since beta71.
In the log there are many entries with:

Update
We can reproduce this and have a fix ready. But…
We moved our whole internal build system after the beta 70 release and still need time testing new releases.
So there is no release expected to happen this week.
As a workaround you can open the task manager and and stop the hotkey_helper
sub process

We are aware of that crash and had reports from alpha users.
At the moment we don’t have a quick fix for that.
This crash (when it happens while gaming and pressing keys) won’t show anything in logs or crash dump folder.
Unfortunately this crash can only be dumped with tools like ProcDump.

Had no crash in previous versions.
Hi there,
using TS5 latest beta here. I’m playing Overwatch 2 with my girlfriend, but the TS5 client seems to silently crash randomly on both our machines, resulting in a connection timeout.
Is this a known issue?
Edit: This happens to us in Overwatch 2, but not GTA 5 or Valorant.
I haven’t been able to capture a crash yet.
The running dump shows me the following:

i Have the exact same issue. was even afk. coming back to pc and its closed… i guess i go back to 3 again lol
As a temporary solution, you can kill the hotkey_helper.exe instance in the Task Manager that is listed below the TeamSpeak process. You then can no longer use hotkeys until the next restart, but it “should solve” the crash for now.
The Team is highly concentrated to circle the problem, but as this crash now exists for the last 6 months, it is a bit more challenger than other problems…
Greetings,
I have 3 monitors. I use TS5 on one monitor but I notice considerable spillover tot he neighboring monitor. I also notice that when I play a game this must cause some kind of collision and mid game I will be talking and then it just closes. It closes without notification and just gone. I only notice when I realize no one is talking.
I wish I could provide more technical information but that is something I notice happening very, very frequently. Can almost always reproduce this.
I think I found a better way without being unable to use hotkeys.
First you need to uninstall the TS5 client. Then download the older beta70 version of TS5 from the official website, then open task manager and find TeamSpeak Client, unpack it and find “HOTKEY_HELPER.EXE” > right click and open it’s directory. Then copy the file and save it somewhere. Update the ts5 to the newest version (just restart it, it will update automatically) and replace the file by the one from the older version. That should do the trick.
I tried it today but TS5 still crashed. I’ll give it a second try tomorrow.
That doesn’t work. Client will go on crashing.
Tested beta 71 with hotkey helper from b70 & internal b71-rc1 up to rc4
Only option is to kill the hotkey helper ;(
Oh, nevermind then. I haven’t had any crashes since I replaced the file but that’s probably a luck then.
By any chance what mouse do you guys use?
Finally i could reproduce this with an older mouse (hammering left and right mouse button).
big tnx for @ImScheinox
I can confirm that some mice are causing the error. Some of my friends and I use the Sharkoon SGM1 (driver installed), TS5 crashs.
