My TS3 server hosted by Light-Speed, there has been a database error today with the server marked as offline. When I enter the control panel I see this error:
“Failed to contact controlling server(TS3): database error”
I submitted a ticket but have not heard back. Any ideas if this is wide spread or next steps?
I am experiencing the same issue as well on my server hosted by lightspeed. Ticket submitted and waiting to hear back. server worked at 1pm EST and then didn’t work when I logged back in at 530 pm EST
Adding to the list of people affected. Sounds like they have an overall issue on their end. Had a ticket in for 12 hours now with no response and our server has had this issue for longer than that. Worked fine yesterday (July 13th) so something broke in the last 24 hours.
With this (assuming you’re renting from a hoster) you will need to reach out to the hoster directly so they can get this looked into and fixed for you, so if you haven’t already done so send them a message so they can get your server back up and running.
At this rate, it may be time to migrate. I found out the official Teamspeak hoster near me is cheaper than lightspeed/teamspeak3.com. The added value of a forum to complain to, I mean seek technical aid from is an added bonus.
"here was a database corruption that caused issue last night. All services are now booting and will be online within the hour.
There is no way to respond to the thousands of trouble tickets individually. Please wait until 12:00PM EST to create a new ticket if you are still experiencing a problem.
We happened to not have coverage during this problem so the effect was greater than it should have been.
