Don’t Let TeamSpeak 3 Fall Behind / keep adding features

Dear TeamSpeak Team,

I have been using TeamSpeak 3 for many years as a community manager, and I would like to share some feedback on behalf of long-time users.

TeamSpeak 3 is still widely preferred due to its simplicity, stability, and low resource usage. However, as communication needs evolve, some essential features are noticeably missing.

In this regard, I would like to kindly request the following improvements for TeamSpeak 3:

• Screen sharing functionality
• The ability to chat with friends without requiring a server (peer-to-peer / group system)
• A more modern and user-friendly grouping/channel system

While TeamSpeak 6 introduces many new features, its complexity leads many users to continue using TeamSpeak 3. For this reason, even limited modern feature integration into TS3 would greatly help retain its loyal user base.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Kind regards

While ScreenShare on TS6 is not fully finished then i would find really funny to see TS3 support before hand  But adding it after stable release would make sense, i just don’t know how much specs requirements would advance

There are no plans right now to continue development for TeamSpeak 3, and we are not planning to allocate any resources to it aside from releasing relevant security patches if needed.

Once TeamSpeak 6 is finished/released and out of beta, plans might change, and priorities could shift, but we will see when we get there, for now it is not planned.
