Error 400 / 401 on clientapi.myteamspeak.com

I wonder why this is happening. I am getting all x(random) hours the Windows notification that syncing failed. It started a long time ago and never went away. Before that I never had any issue

However as far I see sync works fine beside this and it’s probably only temporary thing what happens here. But I cannot find any solution to this. My logs look like this. Anyone any idea?

Does the error appear every day or just here and there?

The service is working fine on our end as of now. It may be possible that there we’re short downtime / maintenance when you were receiving this error.

  • It may be possible that a software running on your computer may interfere with your connection to the server.

  • Have you checked if this issue persists with a different internet connection? (you can try a phone hotspot or a VPN)

  • A workaround with be to disable automatic syncing

I would love to deactivate sync but as I tried all favorites and other stuff was gone >.>

Have absolutely no idea what software could or would cause this - I am on my own server and connected by local ip.

I can try it via nordvpn - had an issue with docker which also was solved by vpn connection - no idea why. I was only rarely able to pull images then switched from windows to kubuntu and since then it was gone

Oh I forgot to mention it is happening everyday

I am not sure but I think it is absolutely not a server side problem.

I was just troubleshooting another issue doing nslookup(s) for any domain names which resulted in 2 timeouts and a valid answer. Maybe this issue is related to this.

I found out nslookup caused my computer to try xxx.xxx.fritz.box adresses which are not used.
Searching more I found adding another . to the adress stopped this behavior - e.g.

nslookup google.de.

I found a way to do this permanently but I have absolutely no clue why this happens. It is called a search domain or DSN suffix. Never heard of this and never had an issue with dns resolving.

The way I did

Seems like that fixed my problem :smirk:

nahhhhh no way, just had the message again and log says
