Hello,

I wonder why identities can only be imported and not exported.

I would suggest that you can also export identities in TeamSpeak 5

This feature should be replaced with myTeamSpeak.
You can import/export identities via myTS-sync.

In this way, you can import and export your identities from any place to another machine, including TeamSpeak 5.

Sorry for the necro post. Personally I like being able to back up my identity/data. I think it would be a good idea to reconsider adding the export feature back in.

Future request: Please add an identity export option so users can create and store backups of their identities.

I try to save my Identity with the TeamSpeak 6 Client but it will not open anything to Export my ID. Setup–>identity–> Name
Right click on the Name do not work.
I can only import a Idetity.

You can only import it on TS6, for exporting you may use TS3. See this post:

Is this an intentional omission or will this be added to TS6?
Given TS3 is to be sunset at the end of 2027…

This may have been a deliberate decision in the early days of TS5 and simply overlooked since. But, as you pointed out, given the sunset I personally don’t see any reason not to have the export function in TS6.
