Not sure why but when new users join my teamspeak they seem to get this error everytime. I’ve lowered and even removed that permission on the channel but it’s till popping up everytime they join the server. How can I fix?

You just need to grant your users enough i_channel_subscribe_power or remove the permission i_channel_needed_subscribe_power from all channels.
the first is the channel and the second is the role people get when joining the server so I guess I’m confused cause even after removing that permission it prompts the same error
Sorry for the confusion in the previous post:
You need to grant the groups this permission i_channel_subscribe_power
Using i_channel_needed_subscribe_power on groups does not change anything as this permission only works when granting it on a channel level
I’ve set i_channel_subscribe_power to 50 and i_channel_needed_subscribe_power is 2 and I’m getting the same error as before
Have you checked every channel?
I just did that but I do have some channels like spacers with higher i_channel_needed_subscribe_power as 70but everything else as 2 and it’s still giving the same error
Yes that is in this case causing the issue, as the users do not have enough permissions to view the spacers.
I set i_channel_needed_subscribe_power to 2 on every channel and the same error happens. I then tried removing that permission on every channel and the same error happens
If a channel has 2 of needed permission, then the users needs a i_channel_subscribe_power of at least 2 to not receive this error.
If you do not want the user to view the users inside of the channel, then the error message can’t be removed!
I have the group on 2 and the channel on 2 for every channel so I’m very very confused
Please share a screenshot of an example channel as well as the group - use the search therm “subscribe”
And the user that is has the error is assigned to the group “Citizen Of Cordovia”?
yep
In the Server Group, right click the permission and click “Add Skip Flag”
Does this change anything?
No
Try assigning the permission i_client_max_channel_subscriptions to the group. In most cases -1 is will work, only for larger servers (more than a 100 users, this may impact server performance)
idk how I managed to do it but I somehow removed server admin from myself. I’m trying to use serverquery cause I have a login and password but it’s not working. Is serverquery available for teamspeak 6 beta 7?
