I’ve bought a teamspeak community package, however it gives me an xxxxx.fra2.teamspeak.com adress, how can I find out the information like IP, UDP port en TCP Query Port. So I can generate a tsviewer for my website.
Did you buy a license or a server?
a community through teamspeakes own site, so that would count as a server.
good question actually, do they provide you a URL or something?
Yes, you can choose which server like eu etc, then you have to make a choice for a tag so mine is frankfurt so it looks like: xxxxx.fra2.teamspeak.com, but nowhere is the IP and port written.
On Linux you can type, dig (url)
When adding your server to TSViewer you should just use the domain they gave you.
There’s no terminal, they only provide what @Radi already described, at least for now…
I meant on your local machine. but again, you should just use the domain name to add your server to TSViewer.
Yeah, but sites like that require you to have server and client ports which you can try to get it using Teamspeak 3 advanced server query, but apparently those ports are locked behind a firewall… I already made a similar question in another topic and I’m still waiting for an answer. Maybe because It’s in beta everything, they will not provide any of that for now…
isn’t it just the default ports?
No, It’s not, It would be too easy if it was… maybe it is, but because of the firewall thing, it will not work like that
Standard ports are not working
There wont be a IP Adresse becuase they most likly proxy the traffic based on the subdomain from where it arrives.
Got answer back from my ticket, they wont release the tcp port. So no tsviewer for ts6 sofar.
