General questions about TeamSpeak

Hi,

Iam new to ts6. I just needed 3-4 hours to set the server up with the linux vps I bought for it.
Now I just want to use screen share with my friend and play games, but I see a yellow bar the whole time. Tried to fix it, but it just give me errors or black screens and all of this stuff. Did someone found a fix for this?
I dont want to use w11.

Second problem. How Iam able to leave the voice? I can only disconnect from the server and it auomatically deletes it from my list.

Third question. It isnt possible to create a chat channel while being in a voice channel and type/read the chat channel?

All of your questions had multiple times being answered in this forum.

  1. yellow bars in screensharing is a windows 10 issue. Why not upgrading to windows 11 if it is possible? For me I upgraded for this reasons and I‘am thankful for teamspeak they gave me a reason to update. Windows 11 ist way better then windows 10 by now. It has been already stated out, that this has no priority and maybe will not get fixed.
  2. for leaving voice you can mute/unmute yourself or switch to a channel where no one is able to speak. When you are not connected to a voice channel, you are not connected to the server.
  3. You can not use persistent channel chats. It’s teamspeak and not teamwrite, but you can use groupchats (these are not connected to your server) which will be persitent. Otherwise you could look up for some solutions using bots.

When you create a channel in teamspeak, you are creating a voice AND text channel. It does both, all you have to do is click on the channel name to type in it.

So the android app for teamspeak also works like that? Like you need to join a voice channel to write a message?

And why my teamspeak crashes when I want to watch my friends stream? I even cant stream for myself.. Its just black. If I use window mode I have micro stuttering and fps is low af, but the stream works. Thats so annoying..
