Hearing my self as soon as i connect to a voice channel

Hi.
I have a new USB Headset. it works fine but as soon as i connect to a TS voice channel i can hear my self.
Windows options for “listening to device” are ok. and the problem only persists when TS is active.

any ideas? thank you

A little more information would be good.

  • Are you using voice activation, continuous transmission or push-to-talk?
  • Do you have “Echo Cancellation” or “Ducking” enabled in your capture settings?
If you are using voice activation, what mode are you using and have you tried adjusting the level?
  • Have you removed your background noise?

thanks for getting back to me
im using push to talk
“Echo Cancellation” or “Ducking are off
background noise cancellation is on but made no difference turned of

Have you already tried if it works better, when these are enabled?

to reitterate: its only happening if communication software is using the mic

I assume that you have enabled listening under WIndows itself?

make sure you have the same options:
