Heavily distorted sound no matter what I do?

Hi, so randomly my teamspeak started acting up crazy. The the sound is quite distorted, both in the channels as well as the voice messages. I have no clue on how to fix this and I’ve tried several things.

-uninstalling and installing teamspeak with configurations included
-uninstalling and installing previous version

I’ve checked other posts, but can’t seem to find anything that’s very similar to this. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

They can hear me totally fine btw, it’s all about what I hear through the client.

Other games work totally fine as well and teamspeak seems to be the only thing affected.

oke first things first :slight_smile:

  1. this is ts3 or ts5 client?
  2. check your internet connection ( check your packet loss on ts)
  3. check which codec is set in that channel ( make sure the opus voice is it and not the opus music, check the codec settings )
  4. try connect to another ts server and check the sounds

Sorry for very late reply.

  1. ts3 client
  2. no packet loss. Distorted sound even when joining channels (the female voice)
  3. no clue

(I have re-downloaded the client twice already)
