I just logged in on my old account and want to change my email and username.
I began with an email change. I added the new email address and then waited for the new link to validate it, but there was no new link.
I have not received any mail to validate my new changed email.
I want to change my email because I don’t have access to my old one. How long does it take to get my validation email, Or is the validation mail sent to my old email address? If so I want to have support.
And how do I change my username?
Do I need any type of contact with support, or how do I manage to change my username?
This is not only currently deactivated but has been for years. It’s sad that you can’t even change your username. Especially if you use an old one that you haven’t used for years.
you do know that people change their ISP’s and no longer have access to the emails associated with those ISP’s? How, in this day and age can one not change their email in their account??? Also, user names should be able to be changed! Like come on TS, get with the program!!! No wonder everyone is or has moved away from TS.
Since the access to the email is the only way to prove that the you are the owner of the account.
We do not store any other personal data, you could provide to proof that you are the owner.
We can’t manually modify this ourselves as this is the only identifiable piece of information on a myTeamSpeak account, and modifying this on our side would be a breach of the data protection act which is why we can’t help in that case.
If you no longer have access to your original email address, we would strongly recommend that you speak to the domain owner to see if they can temporarily lift restrictions on your old email address so you are able to make the needed changes for your myTS account.
