How can I transfer files with my friends on my TS3 server?

I have tried dragging and dropping files into the file transfer window, but nothing happened. I’m not sure how to use the file transfer feature in TeamSpeak 3. Can anyone help me?

You upload or download files in channels.
So you need to open the file browser in a channel (middle mouse button on a channel or right click in context menu).

From there you can copy the url from a file into a chat as an example.
