How do i set a banner and icon for a self hosted server?

When I go to upload server images nothing happens. No feedback, no error, no success, nothing. Other channels say to add a url for the image, what url?

u have to upload ur banner and images on a webserver. that url u have to set at teamspeak

Icons: Try to use SVG icons only. They are smaller in size and look better.
Banner: You can use normal links like “https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/eb/Ash_Tree_-_geograph.org.uk_-_590710.jpg/250px-Ash_Tree_-_geograph.org.uk_-_590710.jpg” or upload the picture to your own webserver.
The best method would be uploading the Banner with the teamspeak server file system.

Upload your banner via the file browser and copy the link. You have to manually edit the link and change file → image:
ts3file://… → ts3image://…

I was able to set the server icon using .svg, still having trouble setting a banner. Does it have to be a specific ratio or certain pixel size or something?

Also is there any way to easily manage the permissions? I dont want to sift through the like 100 permissions each.

Can you tell me exactly what you are trying to upload? If you have standard admin permissions, you don’t really need to change anything. Unless you are uploading images directly to the server using the file browser, in which case you may need to set i_ft_quota_mb_upload_per_client to -1. Which option are you trying to use to set the banner? Have you already uploaded it externally somewhere and have a link, or are you trying to upload it directly to the TS and it’s failing?

I am able to upload and all that. I am server admin. It’s when I actually set the url in the banner settings, nothing happens. The url is saved in the option but the image does not display. it stays the generic gray background. Ive tried both images from the internet and uploaded images to the file share section of my channel.

ts3image://SERVER_IP?port=VOICEPORT&channel=CHANNEL_ID&path=/optional&filename=banner.png
