When other people try to join my teamspeak server it gives them this error “failed to establish connection to teamspeak server.” “Max client reached.” There is nobody else in the server except for me and the reserved slot limit is set to 9
That is the issue, if your friends don’t have a server group to use the reserved slots, then they can’t access the server.
The reserved slots can be used for VIPs or Admins to still access the server, even though the regular slots are used.

What is the issue? How come the friends cannot join the server? I am paying for it and nobody else is in it
Because you’ve raised the reserved slots to 9 users. Please reduce it either to just a hand full or to 0 if this is just a private server.
