you can only change ur profile picture if u have TeamSpeak 5. Because you change this on the client.

So i have a question that probably only @staff knows the answer.

How much time does it take for the avatar to get changed here in the forums?
It’s been two days since i made the change in my account. Just wondering.

If I recall correctly does the forum only use the do not disturb picture. If you haven’t changed that one try it again. Otherwise it should be changed in less than two days.

Yea, i have change the DND picture - even though i would prefer the online one.

@Cornelius that’s an interesting idea tbh. Will test it and let you know.

It takes about 1 minute and a logout and login.

This is just general information.
a lot of people are unable to find out how to change there profile picture.
the way i did it is via TS5 i am assuming that TS3 is similar.
via settings-account (on the top) you will find your user name and avatar picture.
it may take up to 24 hours or longer to update on the forums.

The profile picture of the myTeamSpeak account can currently only be changed via TeamSpeak 5. Normally, logging into the account again is enough for it to be updated.

For comfortable reasons, add that you can also change the avatar in the forum.

yes, an independent profile picture, from the TeamSpeak client, would be beneficial.

This not planned for this forum as it is.
But when the myTS website was overhauled, then it will be possible there.

The current way to change or remove the avatar is the way you set or changed it before.
This is in the TS5 Client Settings > Account page.

yeah, I was kinda baffled too when I visited community.teamspeak.com/user/preferences/profile and I could edit the forum profile banner, the forum user card banner and so on, but not the avatar. Even going to myTeamSpeak does not allow me to edit my avatar yet; so I suppose the only way to change forum profile picture is through the TS3 Client at this time?

edit: no, wait a minute now… my TS3 Client avatar is not the same avatar that I see here! :smile:
