How to Change Profile Picture on the forum

I might be really, really dumb but for some reason, I can’t find any button that changes it…

Can someone post a picture showing where the button is?

Change it with the new TeamSpeak client :slight_smile: Or use Gravatar.

I changed it in teamspeak and it hasn’t changed yet, am I missing something?

No, either it will take some time for the forum to refresh its cache or it doesn´t update for now.

As D0mm4S says, it’ll take a little time to sync the avatar change.

Yes, you need to change your profile picture within the new TeamSpeak client or on Gravatar.

i changed my avatar in ts5 3 days ago and still old one on forum :open_mouth:

Since I don’t have TS5, I changed my email address so I could have a different Gravatar on here. Guess what. It didn’t work. I’m still stuck with the old avatar.

I changed my avatar on TS5 and in about 20 hours the forum was changed

It takes some time to refresh. Guess there’s sth. like a weekly cronjob.

It’s been more than a week and I don’t think it’s going to update anytime soon, at least not for me.

I think I may be an edge case since I changed my myTeamSpeak email address to one with a different Gravatar account attached and I also don’t have a TeamSpeak client available to update the avatar from there.

I know this is a dumb question but I’m confused on how to change the profile picture on here if someone can inform me on how to do it I would be extermely appreciative

Not a dumb question! You need to change it from the TeamSpeak 5 client itself.

Um, no, TS5 is known also as New TeamSpeak or just TeamSpeak. It’s the new client currently in closed beta.

And why 5 and not 4? Well, maybe the same thing as it was with Winamp, who knows…

something that would be nice is if they made it backwards compatible with TeamSpeak 3 servers idk if I can recommend that feature to the dev team
