How do I invite my friends to a local teamspeak server? I cant find a working tutorial online
You have to open the necessary ports on your internet so others can connect to your server.
Service | Protocol | Local Port (Server) | Remote Port (Client) |
---|---|---|---|
Voice | UDP | 9987 | 1024-65535 |
Filetransfer | TCP | 30033 | 1024-65535 |
ServerQuery (raw) | TCP | 10011 | 1024-65535 |
ServerQuery (SSH) | TCP | 10022 | 1024-65535 |
TSDNS (optional) | TCP | 41144 | 1024-65535 |
Btw. just as note:
Don’t open ports you don’t need.
Don’t open the wrong protocol for ports.
I apologize, but I don’t understand. How do I do something like this? If I do it, will it affect everybody else using my internet?
If you are not sure how to do it, the simplest thing is to rent teamspeak from some hosting, for example 5-10 slots just for your friends and you or to simply join an already existing public server.
