Recently I got interested in graphics and I thought why not make my own icon pack for ts3? So yeah, I already have a plan but I don’t know how to do it yet. Please reply.
I would do the following:
- Go to [Installation Path]\TeamSpeak 3 Client\gfx.
- Copy either
default_colored_2014.zip
ordefault_mono_2014.zip
. - Paste the copied zip file into
%AppData%\TS3Client\gfx
and unpack it into a folder. - Rename the folder into the name you chose for your Icon Pack.
- Start TeamSpeak 3, head to
Design
in Options, select your Icon Pack in the Dropdown unterIcon Pack
. - Replace/overwrite the existing files with your icons.
Alternatively you could also do as follows:
- Open
%AppData%\TS3Client\gfx
. - Create a folder with the name of your Icon Pack.
- Head to [Installation Path]\TeamSpeak 3 Client\gfx.
- Open either
default_colored_2014.zip
ordefault_mono_2014.zip
. - Drag and drop
settings.ini
from the zip into the newly created folder in%AppData%\TS3Client\gfx
. - Start TeamSpeak 3, head to
Design
in Options, select your Icon Pack in the Dropdown unterIcon Pack
. - Create icon files with the file names you find in
settings.ini
.
If I were you, I would go with option 1.
Once you are done with creating all Icons, you can create an installer file, to make your Icon Pack easy to install, even for beginners. You can find a short introduction to the TeamSpeak 3 Package Installer here. After you have done that, you can share your fresh Icon Pack with the world.
Feel free to ask any questions you may come across.
