hi i was editing stuff on my server and somehow lost my privilege key. and don’t know how to get it back.
Generate a new privilege key
- Start any telnet client - you can use e.g. PuTTy
- Connect to your Teamspeak 3 server IP using
Telnet
on port10011
- Login using command
login serveradmin yOuR_nEwP@ssw0rd
password in command is the same as the one you set for your serveradmin previously - Select your Teamspeak server instance (if you have only one just this would be your default:
use 1
and hit enter - Now it’s time to generate new privilege key, for that use following command:
tokenadd tokentype=0 tokenid1=6 tokenid2=0
- That will return you token, which you can copy and paste in Teamspeak 3 client under Permissions > Use Privilege Key

Why in the world isn’t there an easier way to do this?? I can’t use my TS server because Privilege Key is used once and no longer available. It’s asked for every stinkin time I boot up my server. I can’t even figure out what mine was OR how I used it. Can’t set up my server so can’t use my server. Any useful help would be awesome!
