It was good move to start joking about Discord, TeamSpeak X gained many followers, but it should be for a limited time. At the beggining posts like this are funny, then it gets casual or annoying.
Personally I would like to hear more information what’s going on with development, soon it’s gonna be 1 year since last update. I think there were big issues inside TeamSpeak development team and probably many people left the project.
Me and my friends use TeamSpeak on daily basis (about 20 users), but slowly we’re thinking about to switch on another platform. It’s not normal that bugs are not being fixed, specially on iOS and Android, while other apps are constatly delivering fixes and improvements.
It’s hard to judge, but this is not a normal process of development. Sad to see this.
I think the silence of TeamSpeak staff will lead to downfall of TeamSpeak client. It’s weird that they’re doing marketing on X, but nothing is done for active users.
Which that explains a lot to me now. I also have some concerns about the server plugins, (mentioned in another topic), however if that continues to lack a response, it seems I’ll have to shut down my TeamSpeak resources in my community to protect my own users from potential breaches. If TeamSpeak really has decided to cease development, it doesn’t really leave me with any other choice, and I have been a supporter for a very long time, even as a Discord user too.
X is a joke, not a place for information. I like that TS treats it that way.
They have their own channels they put out information.
They put out official update less than a month ago with some pings about status and responded to a threat this week updating about where update is and why we dont have any incremental updates.
I feel you all have no idea what development of this magnitude is like if you think your clients should have new features ever few weeks. That’s insanity to me. There is so much coupled together that things the community things are low hanging fruit have deep repercussions.
