Hello, I don’t know if I’m even allowed to ask here, how to get around bans, but I got banned on my friend’s server, and I tried to join with new identity, logged off my TS account and even used VPN, but none of those worked, and I still was banned. Does anyone know why?
Btw, I woulnd’t be asking, if I deserved the ban. However one of his staff members banned me literally for no reason.
Well, if you got banned, there are ways to get around it, but I will not tell you.
If you got banned for no particular reason, ask your friend for unban. If he will not unban you, then it means you’re not allowed on that server. Don’t say something like
and just ask why.
Sorry for this kind of answer, but this would be bad for server owner.
@Adam, @davinciTS or anyone else, please close topic. Thanks.
Hello, I’d like to get back the right to subscribe, switch to channels, chat and poke. I am very sorry for the spam in the chat and I would like to get these features back
TeamSpeak server where I got the blockade: ts.multirpg.pl
idk how it happened, I didint do anythin at all, I was playing with my friends and today I log in and see that Im banned, I didint say a single bad word and my friends didint get banned so its only me but for no reason
im really getting tired of this, we are playing cs2 and sometimes we invite other players. Most of the time, when a user tries to enter my TS server (does not matter if he is a new user or regular one) it shows “you are banned permanently” error. I really do not understand how is this error could be possible, i am seriously considering to cancel my subscription. Sometimes even my friends encounter with this error when they try to join
When you mention a subscription, do you mean a myTeamSpeak-hosted Community or a TeamSpeak 3 server rented from an independent hosting provider? If it is a rented TS3 server, please tell us which hosting provider you use. Please also provide the exact server version.
Please post a screenshot of the complete ban reason from the server chat. Does the message always say that the user is banned permanently, or does it sometimes show a temporary ban and a remaining duration?
Please carefully review the entire server ban list. In addition to entries for the affected users, look for permanent bans based on nicknames, name patterns, IP addresses, IP ranges or similar parameters that could unintentionally match multiple people instead of only one specific person. An overly broad rule or pattern could explain why unrelated and newly invited users receive the same message.
Immediately after the problem occurs, check whether any ban-list entry matches the affected user’s IP address, unique ID or nickname. Please also note who created that entry and whether any administration or moderation bots are connected to the server.
We also need logs from the same connection attempt:
the relevant server-log entries, including the timestamp of the failed connection
the client log from at least one affected user
the exact date, time and time zone of the test, so the entries can be matched
Affected users can open the log through Tools → Client Log in the TeamSpeak 3 client. For a myTeamSpeak-hosted Community, please mention that clearly so TeamSpeak staff can check the hosted service.
It would also help to know whether the same affected user can connect later without anything being changed, and whether connecting through a different network, such as a mobile hotspot, changes the result.
Before posting screenshots or logs publicly, please remove IP addresses and unique IDs.
